PRACTICE OF STUDENTS OF KAZAKH NATIONAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER AL-FARABI ON THE BASE OF CASCASU ON ACADEMIC MOBILITY

From June 3 to June 14, 2024, 3rd year students of the educational program “Pharmacy” of KazNU named after. Al-Farabi completed practical training in the subject “Pharmacognosy” at the Kaskasu base for academic mobility.
During the practice, students became familiar with the types of medicinal plants growing in the flora of the Turkestan region at the Kaskasu base, and compiled a floristic list of medicinal plants.

We became familiar with the growing season, family and life form of plants, and improved our skills in identifying medicinal plants in the wild by their morphological characteristics.
He was involved in the collection, herbarization, drying and storage of medicinal plant materials.

During the practice, the students took part in competitions held at the Kaskasu base and showed themselves as active students. Videos made by students about the practice were nominated among the participants in the “Best Video” category.

Based on the results of the practical training, students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University showed that their practical and theoretical knowledge has improved and they can apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
