PhD Diplomas Awarded for the First Time at the Academy!

On June 4th, a historic event took place in the big conference hall during the meeting of the Academic Council of the Academy: PhD diplomas in Medicine were awarded for the first time. The recipients were Tatiana Polukchi and Dana Bekaryssova.
Tatiana Polukchi successfully defended her dissertation on December 23, 2023, at the Dissertation Council of KazNMU named after Asfendiyarov, while Dana Bekaryssova defended hers on December 25, 2023, at the Dissertation Council of JSC 'SKMA'. Their dissertation work was guided by Professors Gulzhan Abuova and Marlen Yessirkepov.
The diploma awarding ceremony was conducted by the Shareholder of JSC 'SKMA' Serikzhan Seitzhanov and the Rector of JSC 'SKMA' Myrzabek Rysbekov. In addition to their diplomas, the newly minted PhDs received certificates from Serikzhan Seitzhanov amounting to 2,000,000 tenge. Vice-rectors, department heads, and other senior officials of the Academy were also present at the ceremony.
