FAIR WITH EMPLOYERS

On April 30, 2024, South Kazakhstan Medical Academy JSC hosted a fair on the topic: "Fair with employers". The organizers of the fair are the Dean's Office of Internship and graduate employment, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Medicine, the Dean's Office of Residency, the Department of Scientific and Clinical Work, doctoral and Master's degrees, and the management of JSC YUKMA. More than 42 employees took part in the fair, including representatives of the practical healthcare of Shymkent, Turkestan, Zhambyl region and the management of JSC YUKMA, as well as the teaching staff (offline) and representatives of the practical healthcare of Pavlodar, Atyrau, Kyzyl-Orda, North Kazakhstan and Taldykorgan regions (online).
The purpose of the fair is: interaction on the issues of graduate employment, taking into account the requests of employers and the needs of the labor market in modern conditions. The interaction of the university and employers is an important indicator of the quality and reliability of the university's activities, one of the most important criteria for its competitiveness in the education and labor market.
The fair is a platform for the realization of opportunities:for employers:
• for employers: the opportunity to receive young professionals already prepared for practical work;
• for the Academy: the opportunity to qualitatively organize the educational process and work practice, as well as further employment of the student.
The moderator of the round table was the dean of the Dean's Office of Internship and graduate employment, PhD K.S.Kemelbekov. In his speech, Rector, Professor M.M. Rysbekov discussed the competencies necessary for the successful work of graduates in training specialists of various levels for practical healthcare, as well as the formats of interaction between the field of practical healthcare and the academy for their development. Online and offline, there was a queue of participating employers. The participants of the fair confirmed the relevance and importance of holding such events, showed great interest in further discussion of the above issues and expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Academy. Further, according to the second part of the fair, employers held discussions and meetings with graduates on employment at their workplaces.
At the end of the fair, the results were summed up and the proposals of the employers were heard.
