Educational Tour as Part of Academic Mobility

Fourth-year students of the Medicine educational programme at Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University arrived at the Department of Pediatrics-2 of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy JSC to study the course “Children’s Diseases-1” as part of the academic mobility programme.

An educational tour of the academy was organized for the students. At the academy museum, Salim Yerbol Kaltursynuly, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Social Affairs, told the guests about the history, development, traditions, key milestones and achievements of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy JSC. The students explored the museum exhibitions, historical materials and a scale model of the academy.

Gaukharai Niyazkulovna Dzhubanishbayeva, a lecturer at the Department of Morphophysiology, conducted a tour of the anatomy museum, introducing the students to its educational anatomical specimens and visual teaching materials. The guests also explored the academy library’s book collection and educational resources, as well as the landmarks of the city of Shymkent.

They also visited the Supervision Coordination Centre at the Regional Children’s Hospital.

The tour programme was organized by the Faculty of Medicine, the Department of Pediatrics-2 and group ВМ-МҚА-04-23.
