DEDICATION TO A HISTORICAL FIGURE

April 18 in the city universal library named after A.S. Pushkin, on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the birth of the statesman and public figure Sultanbek Kozhanov, a historical evening “Dedication to a historical figure” was organized. Goal: To promote the life and work of Sultanbek Kozhanov to the younger generation.
Sultanbek Kozhanuly Kozhanov is a political and statesman, scientist who made an immeasurable contribution to the development of Kazakhstan, editor. His name is very important for us and is the pride of all Kazakhstanis, and his life and work became the main theme of the historical and educational evening as the best example of serving the Motherland for the future generation.
The event was attended by students of SKMA and was attended by teachers of the department “History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines” Ph.D. O. Turebayev and A. Kabyl. Together with university teachers, the heads of museum institutions and senior lecturer of the Kabyl department Algabek Adilbekuly spoke about new information about the figure based on archival data.
At the end of the event, the library management presented “Letters of Gratitude” to O. Turebayev and A. Kabyl.
