An Educational Event Dedicated to the 185th Anniversary of Ybyrai Altynsarin

An educational event dedicated to the 185th anniversary of Ybyrai Altynsarin, the great Kazakh educator and teacher, was held in the assembly hall of City Polyclinic No. 1. The event was organized by K. Atashova, Assistant Professor of the Department of Family Medicine at South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and a physician of the highest qualification category.

The event was attended by the faculty members of the Department of Family Medicine and intern doctors from groups іТҚ 09-26 and іТО 14-26.

During the meeting, particular attention was given to the values of humanity, honesty, diligence, and kindness reflected in Ybyrai Altynsarin’s story “The Pure Spring.” The educational significance of the story was discussed in the context of modern medical ethics and deontology. Participants highlighted the importance of moral and ethical principles in the professional practice of physicians.

As part of the event, intern doctors delivered presentations and exchanged views on effective communication with patients, the moral and ethical responsibilities of healthcare professionals, and the importance of upholding the principles of compassion and humanity in the provision of medical care.
