XI Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference «Topical issues of medicine»

On March 27-28 of this year, the XI Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference «Topical issues of medicine» and «V Satellite Forum on Public Health and Health Policy» were held at the Azerbaijan Medical University, Baku, Azerbaijan.
The program of the event included topical issues of gynecology, rheumatology, pediatrics, dentistry, radiology, surgery, public health, etc.

The South Kazakhstan Medical Academy was represented by:
Seydakhmetova Aizat Ashimkhanovna - candidate of medical sciences, docent, Dean of the faculty of medicine, Head of the department of emergency medicine and nursing - moderator of the conference;
Bekarysova Dana Sapargalievna - head of the project management and commercialization office «Incidence of diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries»;
Mutalipova Gulmira Zufarovna - PhD student, deputy dean of the faculty of medicine: «Awareness of cardiologists and general practitioners in the prevention of cardiac complications in rheumatic diseases».
Khojakulova Umida Abdyvalyevna - PhD-student, assistant of the department of emergency medicine and nursing «Increasing satisfaction of rheumatological patients with rehabilitation through the use of service design»;
Auyezkhankyzy Dana - PhD-student, assistant of the department of emergency medicine and nursing «Emotional burnout syndrome in the intensive care unit. Analysis of research instrument»;
Shaymerdenova Gulbanu Ganikyzy - assistant of the department of infectious diseases and dermatovenerology «Perinatal outcomes in women with COVID-19 coronavirus infection»;
Ashirova Maira Zangarovna - PhD student, assistant of the department of infectious diseases and dermatovenerology «The effect of vaccination on the course of COVID-19 in patients with concomitant diseases»;

All the reports aroused the interest of those present, the participants exchanged opinions, experiences, and presented their vision of various situations in their fields and countries.
The conference was attended by 92 representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Moldova, Belarus, Turkey, Russia and Azerbaijan.

Another important point of the trip was the establishment of bilateral relations between the two universities!
