Visit of the Indian Ambassador to South Kazakhstan Medical Academy

On February 18, 2025, the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy was honored to welcome the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Kazakhstan, Dr. T.V. Nagendra Prasad. The delegation also included First Secretary and Director Mr. Sanjay Vedi, Second Secretary for Special Affairs and Education Mr. Arvind, and Translator Mr. Aset Kakimzhanov.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Acting Rector of the Academy, Mr. Salim Yerbol Kaltursynuly, the Vice-Rector for Educational and Social Affairs, and representatives of the administration. During the discussions, the prospects for further cooperation between SKMA and leading universities in India were explored.
Following the official meeting, the guests gathered with Indian students in the Academy’s large conference hall. The embassy representatives emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and striving for high-quality medical education.

This visit marked a significant step in strengthening international collaboration and opened new opportunities for academic exchange and joint educational initiatives.
