«The soul of Kazakh Poetry in my heart»

On April 4, 2025, a recitation competition titled «The soul of Kazakh Poetry in my heart»was held. The event was organized by the teachers of the Department of General Education—Zh.S. Sarymsakova, A.A. Isabekova, and A.E. Kenzhebek—to celebrate the state language and its rich oral literary heritage.The head of the Department of General Education, Sataev Amangeldy Toyboluly, opened the competition by addressing the participants. He emphasized the importance of the state language and wished the students success in promoting Kazakh—the language that embodies one of the richest branches of oral literature, passed down through generations. He encouraged them to love, appreciate, and be proud of their native land.
The competition was divided into two stages:
Stage One: Students recited poems by renowned Kazakh poets and writers, delving into the profound depths of Kazakh poetry.
Stage Two (“Who Is More Resourceful”): Participants composed proverbs and sayings based on provided images and explained their meanings.
The judging panel included:
D.Zh. Kemelkhan, Head of the Kazakh and Latin Language Course at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy,
G.K. Altynbek, a teacher from the Department of General Education,
M.O. Oskenbek, a Nursing student.
According to the judges’ assessments, the winners were:
1st Place: Kasymova Darya, a Nursing group student.
2nd Place: Lazar Kuralai, a Nursing group student.
3rd Place: Madaliev Isfandiyar, a Paramedic group student.
All participants received letters of appreciation for their excellent performances.
