The Great Day of the Nation – Az-Nowruz!

On the eve of Nauryz, the Pediatrics-2 Department held a traditional event dedicated to the Great Day of the Nation – the sacred Nauryz holiday. The celebration aimed to promote Kazakh cultural heritage, popularize national traditions, and strengthen friendship and unity among students.
During the event, a special Nauryz feast was prepared, offering traditional Kazakh dishes and the sacred Nauryz kozhe. The rich customs of the Kazakh people were presented through theatrical performances. A significant part of the program was the Tusau Keser ceremony, symbolizing a child’s first steps, accompanied by heartfelt blessings. Another highlight was a performance depicting Kyz Uzatu, one of the most cherished Kazakh traditions. After this, the enchanting sounds of the dombra resonated through the hall, leaving a lasting impression on the participants.
The celebration also featured international students performing their national dances, expressing their admiration for Kazakh culture. Additionally, the famous Kazakh dance Kara Zhorga was performed with great precision, adding to the festive atmosphere and delighting the audience.
At the end of the event, the most active participants and groups were awarded special certificates and prizes. Such events play a crucial role in promoting national culture and strengthening friendship between different ethnic groups.
