THE CONFERENCE IN KAZNU

On April 16, 2025, an international student scientific and practical conference titled "Medicine of the Future" was held in Almaty at the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, organized by the Department of General Medical Practice.
The conference was opened with welcoming speeches by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, S.B. Kalmakhanov, the Deputy Director of the Higher School of Medicine, Z.D. Dushimova, and the Head of the Department of General Medical Practice, G.M. Kurmanova.
Students from the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, JSC "SKMA", KSMU, as well as students and doctors from the Zhezkazgan Multidisciplinary Hospital and from Uzbekistan (the cities of Tashkent and Andijan) presented their reports at the conference.
Intern Ziyatbek Ulpan Shalkarqyzy from group JTDC 11-23 of the "GP-2" department presented a report on "Vaccination Against HPV: Public Awareness and Perspectives." Scientific supervisors: G.Dossybayeva, E.Otumbaeva.
According to the jury's decision, Ziyatbek Ulpan took 2nd place.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy Maria Ulasbekovna Anartayeva congratulated Ziyatbek Ulpan on winning the prize and presented the certificate.
Thus, the "GP-2" department now has first and second places in its collection. It is worth mentioning that on February 28 of this year, at a student conference at KazNU, Sapargali Akbilek took 1st place. Congratulations on your victories!
