REGIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 800TH ANNIVERSARY OF ULUUS JUCHI

On November 20, 2024, a regional scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the Jochi ulus was held.
The conference was organized by the department of “History of Kazakhstan and social disciplines”.
The purpose of the conference is to study various aspects of the history of the Jui ulus, issues of its historical continuity with Kazakh statehood in terms of new approaches and methodological principles.
University students and secondary school students in Shymkent and the Turkestan region also took part in the student conference, organized to publish the results of scientific research by students and teachers of SKMA and to involve students in scientific research.
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his interview with the newspaper “Egemen Kazakhstan”: “We, as a progressive nation, must look only forward” also at the meetings of the National Kurultai held in Ulytau and Atyrau noted, “...Ulytau is located in the very heart of The Great Steppe witnessed many historical events.
Many important meetings took place here that determined the fate of the nation. This holy land keeps traces of the rulers of the Golden Horde and Kazakh khans. We are here to ensure that the continuity of generations continues.” In this regard, it is clear that the Head of State emphasized the need to conduct large-scale research. The event, aimed at studying the historical personality of Jochi Khan, his place and role in the history of Kazakhstan, was attended by historians, scientists, public figures, teachers, and students.
According to the results of the scientific conference, a student of the group VM-SoK-03-24-Turebaev Aslanbek took 1st place, a student of the group B-Mkb-02-24 Tuimebay Olzhas took 2nd place, a 1st year student of SKU named after. M. Auezova Bibolatkyzy Erkenazym - took 3rd place. All conference participants were awarded certificates.
