Overview on the Topic «Protected Areas of Kazakhstan. Aksu-Jabagly Nature Reserve»
On April 7, 2025, a club session was held on the topic «Protected Areas of Kazakhstan: The Aksu-Zhabagly Nature Reserve».The event aimed to deepen students’ understanding of the importance of preserving the country’s natural resources and protecting the environment. During the session, students presented reports on the ecological significance of Kazakhstan’s nature reserves and viewed video materials highlighting the flora, fauna, and conservation efforts within these areas. General information was also provided about the role and value of these reserves. Among those discussed were Aksu-Zhabagly, Karatau, Naurzum, Barsakelmes, Markakol, Altyn-Emel, and Kökterek, all of which play a vital role in preserving Kazakhstan’s natural heritage and maintaining ecological balance. A distinctive feature of the event was a poetry reading by students on the theme of nature conservation, which added an emotional and reflective dimension to the discussion. Students actively asked questions, shared their opinions, and participated in meaningful dialogue. This club session significantly contributed to enhancing students’ environmental awareness and fostering a sense of personal responsibility for nature conservation. As a result, students reconsidered their attitudes toward environmental protection and recognized that preserving nature is a shared responsibility.
