On January 30, 2025, informational sessions for international students were held at the Youth Resource Center

For students of 1st to 5th year from the International Faculty of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy (SKMA), who are from distant foreign countries, several informational and explanatory meetings were organized on important topics.
During the event:
• Senior Investigator for Special Cases of the Drug Crime Control Department of the Shymkent Police Department, Police Major Baurzhan Kanatovich Karbekov, addressed pressing issues related to the fight against drug crimes and provided students with important information on preventive measures.
• Senior Inspector for Special Assignments of the Migration Service Department of the Shymkent Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Meyrzhan Meymanbekuly Medetbekov, explained key aspects of migration legislation and emphasized the importance of strict compliance with and respect for the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Head of the Gas Inspection Division of the Quality Control Department of Shymkent, Elmira Khurshidova, provided detailed explanations to international students living in rented apartments about safety rules for using household gas.

These sessions were aimed at improving the legal awareness of international students, ensuring their safety, and facilitating their adaptation in the city. The initiative was highly appreciated by the students.
