Meeting with Specialists on the Topic «Prevention of Ludomania»

On April 14, 2025, a meeting on the topic «Prevention of Ludomania» was held with the participation of psychologists from the Psychological Service of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy — E.A. Amirkhan, B.K. Kalmagambetova, and A.Zh. Opysheva. The event was aimed at preventing gambling addiction among young people, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and reducing legal violations.
During the meeting, the psychological, social, and legal aspects of ludomania were discussed. The specialists shared insights into the causes and consequences of gambling addiction and introduced effective prevention strategies. Particular attention was paid to the importance of leisure time management, family upbringing, and legal responsibility.

The event contributed to raising student’s legal awareness, fostering personal responsibility, and encouraging a conscious commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of holding such preventive events on a regular basis and expanding informational and educational outreach among youth.
