March, 21 is Unity Day

On March 19, 2024, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines organized a concert event dedicated to the holiday of March 21 - Unity Day at 12:00 at the address: Turkestanskaya str., 10, building #6, auditorium #213.
Ashirov Shadiyar Aldiyarovich as the head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines made a welcoming speech and introduced the guests.
Invited guests: deputies of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan:
1. Gurbanova Arzu Arifovna, candidate of pedagogical sciences (PhD), professor of the Central Asian Innovation University.
2. Saida Sultanovna Korganova, candidate of philosophical sciences (PhD), associate professor of the South Kazakhstan University named after M.Auezov.
Goals and objectives of the event:
Goal:
Strengthen the friendship, harmony and unity between peoples within the academy as well as to strengthen intercultural ties between students and teachers through an event dedicated to Unity Day.
Objectives:
- Promote interethnic harmony and cooperation in Kazakhstan.
- Introduce participants to different cultures and traditions.
- Encourage young people to friendship and harmony between the peoples.
- Expand cooperation between students and teachers.
- Congratulatory speeches and reports were made on the occasion of the Unity Day.
A concert program was held where the musical and dance compositions were presented reflecting the cultures of different nations.
- Artistic numbers of students and teachers were presented (songs, dances, playing national instruments).
- Creative performances dedicated to the solidarity and unity of nations (performances, bride and groom ceremonies) were held.
The Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines created the idea of the "Tree of Unity", and guests and participants like the "leaves" of the tree wrote their thoughts about solidarity or wishes on pieces of paper and hung them on the tree at the end of the concert event. This event will help strengthen the unity of the people and learn everyone's wishes for this day. Thus, through the "Tree of Unity" students and teachers demonstrated in practice the importance of unity and solidarity and providing mutual support.
The concert event dedicated to the Day of Unity was held at the high level. As a result of this event, an important step was taken towards strengthening the unity and cooperation between students and teachers. In addition, it was recommended to hold more cultural events and actions demonstrating friendship between the peoples.
