On October 17, 2024, second-year master's student D.A. Umarova took part in the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Issues and Trends in the Development of the Modern Pharmaceutical Industry," held at the Pharmaceutical Institute of Education and Research in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in a hybrid format (online and offline). D.A. Umarova presented a report in the section "Medicinal Plants: Pharmacognostic and Phytochemical Research. Phytopreparations" on the topic "Determination of Commodity Indicators of Lemon Balm Herb (Melissa officinalis)."
From October 30 to November 1, 2024, second-year master's student A.O. Atyrkhan participated online in the II International Conference "Integration Links of Pharmaceutical Ecology - 2024," held at the A.P. Nelyubin Institute of the First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University, Moscow, Russia). At the youth section of poster presentations within the competition, she represented SKMA University with her work titled "Comparative Commodity Analysis of Narrow-leaved Lavender Flowers (Lavandula angustifolia Mill.) in the Kaskasu and Yntymak Regions," presented in English.
On November 1, 2024, second-year master's student A.D. Rybakova participated in the 72nd Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "New Horizons in Medical Science, Education, and Practice," dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina. The conference took place in Dushanbe, both offline and online. A.D. Rybakova presented her report via the ZOOM platform on the topic "Determination of Commodity Indicators (Moisture and Ash Content) of Eyebright Herb (Euphrasia pectinata)."
On November 21-22, 2024, master's students from the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmacognosy participated in the V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Issues in Pharmacology: From Drug Development to Rational Use," held in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The main goal of the conference was to exchange scientific knowledge, advanced experience, and opinions on current issues in pharmacology and pharmacognosy, as well as the interconnection of scientific achievements and innovative processes in the field of research. Second-year master’s students of SKMA University presented the following reports at the conference:
• Atyrkhan A.O. with the topic "Phytochemical Studies of Narrow-leaved Lavender Flowers," for which she was awarded a First Degree Diploma.
• Umarova D.A. with the topic "Determination of Commodity Indicators of Lemon Balm Herb (Melissa officinalis)," awarded a Second Degree Diploma.
• Rybakova A.D. with the topic "Determination of Commodity Indicators of Eyebright Herb (Euphrasia pectinata)," awarded a Third Degree Diploma.
The master's students demonstrated a high level of preparation, representing SKMA University with distinction on the international stage and receiving well-deserved awards.
All the conferences were held at a high level. Current issues were discussed, including modern trends in the development of the pharmaceutical industry, the integration of ecology and pharmacy, reforms in pharmaceutical education, the development of new drugs, quality control, standardization, certification, and the rational use of medications. Leading scientists from both near and far abroad were able to discuss pressing issues and establish new collaborations to implement strategic plans in the field of pharmaceutical science and research.
