In search of solutions: project defenses on brain vascular diseases at the Department of neurology, psychiatry, rehabilitation, and neurosurgery

At the South Kazakhstan medical academy, the Department of neurology, psychiatry, rehabilitation, and neurosurgery held another round of project defenses by students of the English-speaking groups B-ZMSHA-01-20, B-ZMSHA-02-20, B-ZMSHA-03-20, B-ZMSHA-04-20, dedicated to vascular diseases of the nervous system. The event was attended by students who presented their projects on various aspects of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of vascular diseases of the brain, as well as their impact on the functions of the central nervous system. The projects covered a wide range of topics, from modern neuroimaging techniques to the latest approaches in the rehabilitation of stroke patients. Faculty members of the Department (PhD, associate professor Polukchi T.V., assistants Yessetova A.A., Musaeva S.K., and Tulebaeva G.E.) were present, carefully evaluating the students' projects, engaging in active discussions, and providing valuable feedback aimed at deepening the knowledge of future specialists in neurology and neurosurgery. The students demonstrated a deep understanding of the scientific and clinical aspects of vascular diseases, as well as the ability to critically analyze existing problems and innovative solutions in the field. The event became an important milestone in the educational process, encouraging students to further explore neuroscience and medical technologies. The project defense not only contributed to the development of scientific and public speaking skills but also allowed students to exchange numerous ideas for further improving the methods of diagnosing and treating vascular diseases.
