Current Issues in Pediatrics

On April 16, 2025, an International Conference for Residents titled "Current Issues in Pediatrics" was held at the Regional Children's Hospital in Shymkent, jointly organized by the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University and the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy.
From the “Pediatrics-2” Department, the following residents participated with their presentations:
• Nazereke Azamatkyzy Zhumadilda, 2nd-year resident in gastroenterology – presented on the topic: "Issues in Preventing Gastrointestinal Infections Among Children."
• Tursyn Asyrau Asyrauly, 2nd-year resident in pulmonology – presented on the topic: "Common Causes of Pneumonia Among Children in Shymkent and Preventive Measures."
The conference was held at a high level. The residents discussed relevant topics in depth and had the opportunity to exchange professional experience. Such events contribute to enhancing the scientific potential of young professionals and deepening their knowledge in the field of pediatrics.
