"Care and kindness are the social duty of every person," a charity event titled "From Heart to Heart."

On March 5, 2025, the team from the Department of Family Medicine, together with the interns from groups ІЖТДҚ-13-24, ІЖТДҚ-14-24, ІЖТДҚ-15-24, ІЖТДҚ-16-24, and ІЖТДҚ-21-24, organized a charity event called "From Heart to Heart" at a specialized children's home located in the city of Shymkent.
Purpose of the event: To educate resident doctors about charitable activities, promote friendship, cooperation, and social responsibility among residents, develop spiritual and moral qualities, engage and cultivate every citizen's involvement in charitable work, assist children and adolescents in achieving their dreams and desires, participate in the future of these children, and provide them with a sense of trust, joy, and safety.
The department staff and resident doctors organized a concert program and games to uplift the spirits and entertain the children. The event was held to bring warmth, even for a moment, to those children who have not experienced parental care and have been raised in orphanages since birth, and to brighten their mood.
At the department, Associate Professor Bekitbaeva Nazipa Shahmanovna gave a speech: “Charity is one of the noble qualities of a person, a light of mercy in the heart. That is, helping children and performing charitable deeds are good actions that stem from the nobility of the human soul, the richness of the spiritual world, and the brightness of the inner world. One of the kindest deeds in a person's life is to care for needy children. Undoubtedly, charity instills confidence in every child and gives them strength.”
The resident doctors organized games for the little ones and provided them with a joyful evening. We observed wonderfully prepared festive performances organized by the children. The children sang songs and amazed everyone with their beautiful dances. Under the guidance of the department's assistants, the resident doctors prepared special gifts for the children.
At the end of the event, the head of the specialized children's home gave a speech and thanked all the kind-hearted people. She noted that this charitable event helps children understand the support and care of society. We are confident that the event contributed to the comprehensive development of the children, improved their emotional and psychological well-being, and provided them with a sense of confidence, joy, support, and safety.
