«Book – a source of knowledge»

On April 1, 2025, as part of Kazakh Language and Literature Week, Book Reading Day was held in the library of the 3rd building of the college under the theme “Book – a source of knowledge.”
During the event, students and teachers discussed Beimbet Mailin’s novel “Shuganyn Belgisi,” one of the most significant works of Kazakh literature. The main goal of the event was to cultivate students’ interest in Kazakh literature, introduce them to Beimbet Mailin’s works, and deepen their understanding of the richness of Kazakh literary heritage. The event began with a speech by Kushkarova Altynshash Mukametkaliyevna, Director of the Medical College. Librarian Kuanyshbekova Yerkezhan Azimkhanovna, who played a key role in organizing the event, highlighted the importance of a strong reading culture in shaping students’ knowledge and critical thinking. The discussions were engaging and thought-provoking, allowing participants to gain deeper insights into the novel’s themes and significance. Thus, Book Reading Day increased interest in literature among both learners and teachers, enabling them to appreciate the spiritual richness of Kazakh literature.
