Academy students returned victorious from the international Olympiad “Andijan-2025”

On April 9, the I International Olympiad among medical students - “Andijan 2025” - was held at the Andijan State Medical Institute.
More than 260 students in offline format from more than 20 leading medical universities of the world took part in this prestigious event. Our university was represented by a team of five 4th year students, and each of them showed brilliant results - all participants took prizes, demonstrating a high level of training and professionalism.

During the trip a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between our University and Andijan State Medical Institute, which became an important step towards strengthening international academic ties. The signing of the document symbolizes the beginning of a new stage of interaction between the two universities, aimed at the implementation of joint educational programs, scientific projects, exchange of students and teachers. We sincerely hope that this memorandum will become the basis for long-term and fruitful relations based on mutual respect, professionalism and aspiration for the development of medical science and education.
Within the framework of the Olympiad Bekmurzaeva Elmira Kuanyshevna was invited as Visiting Professor of Andijan GMI. During her arrival in Andijan GMI she delivered a series of lectures at the departments: “Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine” and “Faculty Therapy”.
