A meeting on the topic of "Preventing Violence in the Family"

On September 24, 2024, a meeting with students on the topic of "Preventing Violence in the Family" was held at the initiative of the Department of Youth Affairs. The event was attended by: Bayzahova Sabira Muratkyzy, head of the "Shanyrak" public foundation for the support of youth and young families, Kudaibergenova Akmaral Asankyzy, laureate of the "Mereyli otbasy" contest 2024, member of the Women's Council of Shymkent, Tolegen Nazerke Nurlankyzy, inspector of the group for the protection of women from violence of the Shymkent Department of Internal Affairs, Al-Farabi District Police Department, Zhurgenbayeva Nazira, a specialist from the Center for Prevention and Control of HIV / AIDS, as well as students and employees of the Department of Youth Affairs.
The purpose of the event – violence is a problem that affects everyone, it is a tragedy for mothers, it is destroyed destinies. If we want to prevent families from breaking up in the future, it is necessary to pay attention to the upbringing of both girls and boys from an early age. If every teenager is brought up to respect girls and women from childhood, then there will be no violence in the family.
Police Lieutenant Tolegen Nazerke Nurlankyzy emphasized that every citizen should fight against crime and violence, not remaining indifferent to what is happening around them. She urged students to engage in sports and be educated.
